Great news!

We’ve had wonderful, sunny weather since the start of April and Kaua‘i is more green and beautiful than ever!

The following is an update on the most popular subjects being asked by travelers to the Kaua‘i Visitors Bureau.

Weather The weather is terrific, with temperatures averaging in the mid- to high 70's. It’s been warm and sunny, with clear blue skies and only a few brief sprinkles here and there. In other words, it’s typically gorgeous spring weather on Kaua‘i.

Beaches All beaches island-wide are open and safe for swimming, ocean activities and playing in the sand.

Roads All roads and highways are open, except for the road leading into Polihale State Park at Kaua‘i’s far west end, which is undergoing repairs.

Accommodations All hotels, condos, vacation rentals, time shares and bed-and-breakfasts are open and treating visitors to our Aloha Spirit hospitality.

Activities Activities and attractions are open and operating. The famed Fern Grotto on Wailua River is closed temporarily for maintenance. In the meantime, visitors are enjoying the entertaining boat tours of Wailua River and garden tours at Smith’s Tropical Paradise. In addition, all hiking trails are open island-wide, however, hikers are advised to call the State Parks Office at 808-274-3444 for an update on trail conditions.
